Administrative Staff visit new campus
Staff of the university made a familiarization tour to the new campus site to check on progress of work so far.
Mr. Maurice Anlasun the site engineer took them round and briefed members on the various projects on-going at the site.
Members where taken to the concrete block making factory which provides concrete blocks for construction works at the site. They also inspected work at the school's botanical gardens.
They were late shown progress of work on the campus's Power Supply Systems which was almost complete at the time of their visit. These included laying of underground and overhead electrical cables, fixing of standby generator etc.
Members later visited the Engineering Block to also see progress of work. It was revealed by Mr. Anlasun that about 97% of work is complete and it only remains with finishing touches such installation of lab equipments, the elevator, fixing of car parks, landscaping etc. (To read more on on-going work at the new site click here)
Members were very pleased and exited about what they saw and encouraged the site engineer and his works to do everything possible for to be completed on schedule.
