Department of Computer Science and Engineering
The Department was set up to train highly skilled Computer Scientists and professionals to meet the ever increasing demands of the computer age of modern society. The academic programme began in Nov. 2002, with only 8 students; however a re-accreditation by an international team of experts adjudged the programme to be among the best in Africa. This exercise upgraded the programme from B.Sc. Computer Science to B.Sc (Hons.) Computer Science.
In 2006, we obtained accreditation to begin the Bachelor of Computer Engineering which is an in-depth study of the Engineering and hardware concepts of Computer Education.
All Nations University College is one of the few Universities that have qualified full-time faculty in Computer Science in the entire country, supported by sophisticated modern computer laboratories for practical training. ANUC is the only University that builds its own computers from scratch to meet its needs. Our graduates are in high demand due to the quality of our programmes.

Short Range Goals
Future Goals
The department has some long range goals which are:
The department is equipped with good programming laboratories with about 150 PIV computers for the benefit of the student body. In addition to research, projects are developed and handled by a separate team of members working under the name ANU Technologies. The department has a dedicated VSAT connection, and is also equipped with sophisticated servers.
